I did my kickboxing class last night. Tanya was teaching it, with her arm in a cast and a sling! She asked me and two other people who know the moves to come up where she stands and she just said what to do and people followed us. It was fun and brutal! She was not working out so she could watch us! It was an awesome work out! I also did 30 minutes on the bike at level 11 random and 20 minutes full body free weights. Tonight I am going 30 minutes on the elliptical at level 12 (maybe even 13) and then 20 to 30 minutes on the bike at level 11. I want to get out of the gym fast because Trevor and I are going into the city so I can get something nice to where to all the parties coming up.
As for eating, I have been back on track since Monday. Sticking to my points of 20 a day. The plan is to not eat many, if not any of my flex points this week. I must be very good this week to make up for my nasty weekend and to get closer to my Christmas goal!
Only 8 more days and I am on holidays. Well actually it is a few more because I am working on the 19th, but that is only 1 day! I did that so that I could get caught up on my emails from the weekend before I went on holidays and so I could take the 3rd of January off. I can't wait!!!
I have not been keeping up on my journal reading since I was off on course last week. I go away for a few days and I am catching up for ever. Plus this is a very important time of year for the company I work for so we are very busy! I will catch up this weekend though, I promise!
I was just talking to one of my bestest girlfriends ( Hi Jode thanks for the Funny Christmas pictures!) and she told me that she and another one of my good friends (Hi Wil!) reads my journal regularily. It is always a surprise to me when I find out that people actually read my journal. I have pagestats that tell me that people are coming to my site but those are just URLs and numbers, it is hard to belive that they are actually people! It makes me realize what an impact I could have on other peoples lives by talking about the good stuff and the bad stuff. Thanks to everyone who reads my journal. Just knowing you are out there and care means so much to me.
Nice, here I go getting all teary eyed because people are visiting my site. Isn't that one of the main reasons that I don't just type it all on my computer and store it all away, like I did for years, so that people could share my journey.
Well I guess that is it for today. As usual I have a million things to do and I am running out of time! I still don't have my Christmas tree up!

The title sums it up! I lost half a pound and reached one of my major goals to break 150 lbs!!! I am now 149.5 pounds!!!! Yipppeee!!! All those skinny vibes must have worked!! Thanks Girls!!! I have no idea how I pulled that off!! When I got home I weighed myself just to make sure the scale did not lie and it didn't. That is exactly what my scale said! Oh well I will not argue! I will have to be very careful this week though because I will not get away with it two weeks in a row. Even losing half a pound makes me want to try really hard this week to get even closer to my goal of being into virgin fat before Christmas!
Actually last night when I got home I looked up my stats from when I lost weight back in 2002, (yes I love lists and spreadsheets!) and I saw that my lowest weight was 147 lbs. in the morning. Currently I weigh in the evening, so I am pretty frigging close to that virgin fat! But just for the sake of my challenge my number will be to get to 146.9 lbs (in the evening) by Christmas.
My first challenge will be two Christmas parties this weekend. One is a potluck, which will be fine because I just eat what I want and don't eat what I don't want and I am bringing a veggie tray. But the second one is a pre-ordered dinner at a restaurant so I will have to just take it as it comes! Speaking of Christmas parties I am going to go out shopping tomorrow night after I work out of course, to see if I can find a nice outfit to wear to all these parties. Nothing too fancy though. Just something other than my jeans and sweater that I have grown to love because they are the only clothes I have that fit!
I am off to the gym tonight; I think I will do 30 minutes on the bike and elliptical tonight unless Tanya is doing the class in which case I will do that. The new class, with the new instructor, involves doing things with a partner and I am not so into that. I am sweaty and gross I don't want strange people touching me! I doubt Tanya will be doing it with her arm in a cast, although I would not put it past her! Actually I might do the class either way…. I am not sure yet. It is such a good work out though and I do the bike and elliptical all the time. We will see when I get there if I am in the partnering mood! Either way I will do 25 minutes of weights to. Currently I just do entire body twice a week, but I think I might use the old routine I had when I got down this low in weight that Tanya made for me where you do it three times a week but each day is a different set of muscles. Actually I think I will start that in the New Year. It is always nice to have a new routine to go back to in January. Or what I might do, if I can afford it, is to pay for a training session and a body comp with Tanya in the New Year and get a whole new routine. I had my body comp done twice before while I was losing weight the first time and I am curios to compare them to now.
