Hello, sorry for the luck of update yesterday. I wanted to spend as much time as I could with Trevor before he left to go hunting. We had a great day, we did a little shopping, drank some wine (thanks Meg it was delicious…mmmmm), played some cards, and staid up past 11!! God I am getting old….
The weekend has been very good food wise. I have only eaten 4 flex points, to indulge in a few glasses of wine!! I went to the gym on Friday and did my 45 minutes of cardio and 25 minutes of weights. Yesterday I got in at least an hour of wondering around stores and then today I finally squeezed in an extra work out!!! It was great. I picked up my hand weights from my parents, well just the larger ones…. The 1.5 kg one is kind of useless and I did a work out kind of like one of my kickboxing classes. I did some weight and incorporated into it some kickboxing moves. It took me 40 minutes and I sure was sweating when I was done. I think I will just put this as 20 minutes of weights and 20 minutes of cardio on my exercise page. Woohoo!!! It was awesome! Since the next few weekends I will be staying with my mother in law (Kerry, thanks for signing my guestbook!) while Trevor and his father go hunting, I figure I will bring my weigth with me and do a work out there on Sunday! Trevor will be hunting all weekend so; I will need to keep myself busy!!
Trevor was off at 6:00 this morning to go hunting so I have cleaned my apartment from top to bottom and am about to have a shower and then I am off to spend the day with my mom. I am spending the night at my parents tonight; I am brining my wedding scrapbook to keep me busy and my new Danielle Steel book (her brand new one, a birthday gift from a good friend, thanks Wilson).
I plan on going to my 42-minute kickboxing class tomorrow night, after shopping with my mom and aunt (fun, fun, fun!!) and also to do my usual 30 -45 minutes of cardio before the class. I will have lots of time because Trevor will not be home until late. You never know, I may even get some exercise in while shopping!!
Anyhoo, I am off to moms. I will try and update all of my pages tomorrow or later on today…. I wanted to add some new recipes and do a few updates and maybe add some more photos…
Have a great day!!

Well, I had another awesome work out last night. I did 35 minutes on the bike at level 10 random and 35 minutes on the elliptical level 11 cross train. It felt good!! When I work out I get into my own little world!! Sometimes I use my trusty mp3 player and always I have my book. I love to read and this gives me an opportunity to do it more often!! A lot of people ask me how I can read on the elliptical. But I guess since I have been doing it for so long the motion of the machine does not seem o affect my ability to read. Plus some people have said that if I can read I am not working hard enough. I say to that, I am doing level 11 or 12, how can I possibly be not working hard enough??
Some of you may be thinking, or not, but I will share anyways, what I am reading. I read all sorts of books. My most favorite book is Jane Eyre…. What an amazing book! But when I am working out I have found the best thing to read are books that don't take much thought. So for the last year I have been reading Danielle Steel. I don't care what people may think of me for reading her books, I love them. As a matter of fact I am attempting to read all of her books starting at the beginning (using what I can find!). She currently has 67 books! In a year, while only reading while working out, I have read 17 of them! Her books are so easy to get into. In fact I have been crying on the elliptical and nobody knows the difference because I am also sweating buckets… there my secret is out!!! So between my book and sometimes my music (when I feel like music), my work out usually flies by! Don't get me wrong though, I don't always read books like Danielle Steel, at home I have started reading Gone With The Wind and I have been working my way through the Bible for over a year now!
Tonight I will be doing 30 minutes of the bike at level 10 random and 15 -20 minutes on the elliptical at level 11 or 12 and then 25 to 30 minutes of weights. I do a little less cardio on Friday, just because it is Friday! I am still really hoping to squeeze an extra work out in this weekend!
I love the weekends! I love to spend time with Trevor. We have so much fun together. There is nothing better than Saturday mornings when we get to stay and bed and just chat about our week! I love that!
I am having a good food day…. All the guys here at work went out for Chinese Buffet and I resisted! I told them I would stay here and hold down the fort!!! I will run home for some lunch when they return. Although it is Friday, so my cupboards are empty, but I am sure I can hunt down something healthy!!!
We have decided that Trevor will leave on Sunday Morning. I miss him so much when he is not around! He is going to get another trophy deer! He got one a few years ago and will be in the record books for his county. It is on our wall! While he is hunting on Monday, I will be Christmas shopping!! Fun, fun, fun!!
Well I guess that is it for me today…. I will be back to post over the weekend with Trevor gone I will have some time to kill!!! I was thinking of adding some more stuff to the website… I have more recipes and maybe my weight lifting programs…. We will see, I'll keep you posted!!
